Thanks for the offer :thumb - I suspect we'll go there directly from wherever we spend the day though.

We're not on bikes on this trip, we've got a nice little hire car ... a Mercury Grand Marquis :lol3

John and wife (CindyLouWho) have been pretty sick lately so I don't know if they will be there or not.

Another couple of friends of mine will probably be there though. Janet (version6.1) told me that she and her S.O. Hillzy are planing to be there.

All right Ya'll. Here is the pics of the turn out tonight.

Good Q, good company, lots of talking:slurp and BEER.

I would not do justice to try to put names to these pics as for some reason i can remember the details of strict specifications but can not retain a name one minute after it is said.

It was nice to meet Kenny, NCbub and wife, nugentch, Dave the lawyer (not on board yet) Swiss army watch guy from TN (sorry the name thing again) Anyway, heres the group. I think the turn out was good and we should consider a replay.

Mike (black t-shirt standing on the left of last pic for those as name challaged as i am:D )

Mike thanks for posting some pics. Great turnout, we had about 22 I think. (math is hard) Very little beer drank but for some reason everyone in those pics looks red faced and sloshed :D

It was nice seeing some folks that have been around for awhile and meeting a bunch of new ones. We might as well do it again.

Where to meet...............Hmmmmm, if you like BBQ try Hawg Wild in Brevard! I would come then.

I think that coffee houses like Mountain Java make nice meeting places as well. Just a thought.

Glad the turn out was good. Looked like you guys had a great time.

Yeah, it was great meeting all YFF's. Sorry I suck with names so I only remember a few. I'll get a few more next time.

Enjoyed it Russ. Good to meet you Mike. Likewise Mel, Rick, and Joyce??. Good to see you again Doug.

It would be good to meet somewhere where the music is not so loud. I know they were asked several times if the music in that room could be turned down but if it was I couldn't tell.

If you like BBQ Rubys is very good. Some of the most tender pork I have ever eaten. They also have one of the best selections of beer on tap of any place in town (at the Haw Creek location).

We could also go to one of the great Mexican places in town. Papas & Beer is my favorite but it is kind of small. I will call and see if they think they can handle 15-20 on a Thursday night.

Tequila's is also great and they have a big room that would be great for us to meet.

    Suggestions and comments????

    Kenny

Never been to Ruby's or Tequila's, but they sound like good choices. Papas and Beer is awesome good Mexican, and if they could handle us, that would be great too.

Like you said Kenny, getting together is the main thing, food secondary.

But good food does make it all more enjoyable! :D

Joyce and I enjoyed seeing everyone! It was too loud for me. All the sounds sort of blend (showing my age!)
