Me? I'm happy spending the day behind my "barn door" Parabellum screen. No buffeting . Cosmetically, it ain't the most beautiful, but the DR is more about function over form, and the Parabellum just plain works.
I had a universal type screen from National Cycle, but never could get it adjusted to eliminate buffeting in stron crosswinds.

I'm also happy with the DRZ400SM from fender I swapped for the stocker. That fender doesn't catch the wind like the stock DR650 fender. Some claim it to put out lots of spray in the rain, but in my case, it doesn't get past the big Parabellum...

I've been using an MRA streetshield and really like it.
Small and out of the way for off-roading, and it keeps the windblast off my chest for sustained high speeds. Short enough for good clean air-flow to my helmet so the rain-X can do its job to let rain drops get blown off my face-shield for a clear view.

I'm thinking of ordering one of these Britannia Composites complete fairing units.

Larger fairing, adjustable windshield, double headlight lighting (will add HID low beam) and adds good dash location for Vapor/GPS. Looks good IMO.

I got a Maier windshield from JC Whitney. It works pretty well.

Man, thats about as pricey as a Safari tank depending on the lights... Very cool though.

I bought a Spitfire after reading all the threads on the subject, I hope it will work for me... Need to install it soon.

Running a Screens for Bikes. I like it. Keeps the wind off my chest pretty good, is fit and trim and unobtrusive.

I had an MRA before this. It worked well and was very adjustable. Problem was the stands for it hooked to the handlebars and cluttered things up.

i use a fz1 gen. 1 stock screen bolted to the faring. paid $15
gives me about 6" of windshield and the wolfman luggage gen 1 klr windscreen pouch fits ferfect on it.

those are real nice but real pricey.

And, a very exciting development related to it, Madstad should soon have a fully adjustable bracket specifically for the Turbo City bars! Killer combination!

Anyone have any more info on this setup? When it will be available? As stated, this could be a killer setup (with Madstad).

On their site they only list Bandit and Vstrom models for purchase.

Call Mark. He's got 'em in stock. I'm not sure about the pricing. He said he needs to create dedicated product pages on the site, and he hasn't had time.

That's my white DR in the picture below (well was mine, sold the DR) ... but the Set-up Works GREAT ! I now have it on my WR250R ...

My dr with a kato 640 fairing. i'll soon have the mould finished for a fairing profiled to the 30lt safari tank

Can you please post a pic or two of the cockpit and the mount setup for the fairing? Very very interested.

I like that setup. $465 for a fairing, dual headlights and adjustable windshield system seems pretty reasonable for what you get.

Mine arrived today and spent the following 4.5hrs doing the install. Used original speedo and dash lights, a cpl of 12V sockets and a cpl of toggle switches.....still had plenty of room for the planned Garmin GPS. Took it for a blast up the highway and soooooooo much more comfy at speed......will try the lights out tonight but they seem 100% better then original.
