There's 4/10ths between Dovi and Nicky but 4 other riders are sandwiched between them.:eek1

Worked for me in FP1. At the bottom of the video screen there's a "mixer" button. You can adjust the commentary slider to zero -- joy!

And no extra charge -- well done Dorna.

Re-watching now and not seeing the mixer button. Did you watch FP1 live? Maybe it's only there then?

Yeah, watched live, and now see that the replay doesn't have the mixer button. Too bad, I only watch a handful of races live, so I guess I won't be getting away from Nick Harris as much as I wanted.

I watched the whole session without commentary not realizing I could have switched it on.
I re-watched it with commentary and quickly found it rather annoying.

Often times they will be yaking about stuff without paying any attention to what's on screen.

That's only because you are not insane.

I also don't watch many races live so I hope the can transition to having the sanity switch to delayed viewing. Often some features aren't available for FP so maybe that is the case. I have sent motogp.com an email. They are usually pretty quick about replying.

It appears the multi-screen mode will be available from QP but I think that will be an upgrade ($$$) feature after Qatar.

Those who think it´s necessary, could IMO go to Motogp 2006 thread to discuss that incident. Or just get over it.

At some point, you'd think people would get over the fact that some people can't get over this...

Anybody still think Rossi lost it, was too old to ride a GP bike at the pointy end ?

There never was and there will never be 100% certainty for anyone to podium but for Rossi can't be written off as some suggested.

Lets hope for a great race

I temper my listening by remembering what Speed commentary sounds like.
The best Speed could manage wasn't as good as the worst Nick and Gavin can do.
And I am not such a fan of any one rider or nationality that favoritism bothers me.

Nobody liked Screamin' Johnny Green either, but he didn't bother me. Maybe my hearing empairment is a good thing?:lol3

Watch FP2 live now on Eurosport2!

I can't believe I survived the gap between hearing those motors again...:clap

Glad to have Gavin and Nick to listen too, since our boys aren't as entertaining.

Last lap Nicky pulled a 58.2" and Rossi a 57.2", Nick has got some make up to do and I haven't seen a time from Dovi yet.

Was able to access the mixer now briefly at work to sample it. Fucking awesome.

    re: mixer

It's not available on the videos from the library, it's only available live. The mixing volume is available everyday, the multiscreen will be available on Saturday and Sunday.

    Kind Regards,

Only two tenths between the top Ducatis. Doesn't seem that Dovi is running away from Nicky.

    Thx for the info swimmer.

MM, nice work in FP2, though he and Pedrosa (especially Pedrosa) are plagued by running off at Turn 1. Dirty track and high winds, but still.

Not sure I would put a ton of stock in MM's fastest lap in FP2. His second fastest lap of the session was a 1:58.380 . Rossi and Lorenzo were both running consistent 1:57's. Cal had several 1:57's as well.

    I followed up a little

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it.

Don't worry, the new video player will be available for the videos from the library very soon. We are working on it.

Thank you. I was able to sample today. It's great. I can't watch many races
live so hopefully this could be incorporated into the new library videos. I've
subscribed for the last 3 or 4 years and this has to be the best improvement yet.
Watching/listening with no commentary and just sounds from the track is most
excellent. Great job to the motogp team for continuing to make improvements.

Looking at the analysis, Lorenzo and Rossi are looking really consistent, with strings of 1:57's, and a few 1:56's. Cal had two 1:57's in a row. Bradl had a nice string of fast laps, too. Marquez and Pedro look a bit hit or miss. Let's hope the track continues to clean up so we can see some true pace in P3.

214MPH by Dovi is blinding fast. Hard to believe that the bikes are going that fast. 205? 207? maybe, but 214 is out there!

Nicky lost another half tenth in the last session to Dovi. Get on it 69!!
