Okay... since i did a 24 passes in 24 hours without any worries back a month on my 12ST i am out to try one more time a 50 passes in 50 hrs ride. Unlike the route that GSL over in the ROCKIES forum is planning i am going on 1150GS so i routed a bit differently... The last three attempt i did not make it the whole way.. first one i just got too far behind due to construction and being exhuasted. the second was a mechanical problem half way through with the cycle. and the third two years ago i hit some bad weather that just wore me out too fast.. i will be starting at about 4am Okay i got my longer route finalized. here is the list in order McClures, Kebler, Ohio, Cottonwood, Cumberland, Wanita, Black Sage, Old Monarch, Monarch, Independence, Hagerman, Tennessee, Ptarmagain, Vail, Shrine, Freemont, Ute AP NF, Cottonwood (Grand County between Hot Sulphur and Frasier) Berthoud Loveland, Webster, Hoosier, Boreas Red Hill, Kenosha, Browns, Weston Wilkerson, La Sala, Current Creek, Trout creek Poncha, Moon, Camero, North, Lujan/Peon, Old Cotcheptoe, Los Pinos, Slumgullion, Spring Creek, Engineer, Red Mtn, Black Bear, Ophir, Molas, Coal Bank, Yellow Jacket (with a detour on back roads to 160 depending on time of day through Durango) Wolf Creek Elwood, Stunner,#50 IFf needed Cumbres, La Manga, Finish in La Jara or Antonito

Okay i got some of the picts done... still working on the written report... will have time in the morning on my break at work... got sucked into Honey Do list today once i awoke up... I got 40 passes in under 40 hrs... aproximately 27.5 hrs of riding time with 9.5 hrs of sleep, food, and other breaks... Cottonwood Cumberland Wantia Old Monarch Ptarmagain Ute Apraphoe NF Cottonwood Grand county the water at Websters Boreas Weston Coming out of La Salle... i had a hard time seeing anything once up in the trees to where the other FR splits off at the pass... i drove roughly 5 miles from US 24 so i should have been at it... think my SPOT tracked me just about mile below the summit of the pass... it was cloudy. same with Current Creek... i road to where i thought i was heading down after reaching a high point... hard to say when in the clouds... but looking at my mileage on the odometer i just reached it and a touch beyound.
