Servus! (which means "Hi" in Austria) I'm thinking of travelling through New Zealand on my own bike. After New Zealand I would continue to Australia. The problem is that we (my wife and I) can't take off for so long (vacation only) and would come back 8-9 months later. Meanwhile I would prefer to store my bike in Australia. It could be in New Zealand too, depending on the easiest way. Any ideas, experience or contacts? Thank you very much!
What kind of bike? I've got plenty of secure storgae space, on the east coast about 2.5 hours north of Sydney but of course the bike would need to be started and run regularly so it was ready for whenever you needed it
I live about 1.5 hours north of Melbourne... There's usually space floating around in my shed. (I have a mates bike here on permanent storage). It all depends on what your plans are.
Ditto for shed space - we're a couple of hours north of Melbourne - plenty of (lockup) space, very low risk rural area with power for a battery tender. You're more than welcome to store your bike here. :) PM me if you need to contact. Cheers Matt
