Are you riding in the woods or on the road? Where do you meet? I am in Northvale and always looking for someone to ride with. I have not done much winter riding, but would love to!

I would do a ride with Chris first. The stuff we do is the same but we park and ride to the woods. We pass lots of cops and you would get pulled over real fast. If you park by the woods you will get towed.

What air pressures do you guys run, to get good traction on the rocks, but still avoid pinch flats??

    13 psi

You run these and no more pinch flats. But, you could still slice a tire open. :cry

What pressure for those of us with out tubliss?? :D

Edit: Got to watch the vid on my lunch break. Cool stuff. The only thing is the chest mount set up drives me nuts to watch...I keep trying to get a view further down the trail/road.

I run 12-13 with tubliss also, but both my tires lose most of the air within a day.

It's actually Liquid Image goggles and I can't keep my head up high enough to see farther down the trail, made worse because I wear a leatt brace. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if they can give me any hints or if anyone else had even complained of the same problem.

Even with tubes, 13psi should be good.

If you're using tires that have been on & off the wheels more than once, the little digs the irons put in the bead will cause them to lose pressure.

Is the Brace the right size for you, and/or, is it interfering with your body armour at all?? I ask, since I had the same issue with the Astars Bionic Neck Brace I wear. My original body armor was the Bohn Ugly shirt armor...but pressed the brace up in back, limiting my neck movement....like you mention. I had to bite the bullet, and buy the Astars Bionic body armor suit, that is made to work with their neck brace. Now the brace fits perfectly and does not limit my head movement at all. Just a thought.

51 on Sat. :clap Should be on your side of the Mt and up in NY on Sunday..
I just got the Contour HD and love it.
This is what it looks like..
Note: every rock we turned over we put back in it place before we left and cleaned off all the dirt we got dirty so the woods looks just as they did before we went in :deal :lol3
