Okay...how about a new theme...bridges...here's one to start it off... Used a D70 with a 17-35 Sigma...on the Golden Gate Bridge crossing over to the Marin headlands...from the passenger seat of a Z-06 Corvette.
I see you guys are gambling men. That poor ole bridge was probably groaning, with the weight of those heavy D.S. bikes parked on it.
Here's a couple built by John Roebling that aren't in Brooklyn. Reiglesville PA overlooking Delaware River towards NJ. Lackawaxen PA overlooking Delaware River this time looking into NY This one used to be a canal for barges in it's heyday. Now it's open to vehicles. Roebling Aqueduct
Most of these bridges are in or around Orange County Vermont. These have been posted before in my ongoing Vermont ride report. The Flint Bridge, the oldest remaining covered bridge in Tunbridge, VT, built in 1847. The Larkin Bridge, built in 1902 for the sum of $473.23. I'd say they got their moneys worth so far... A shot of the Mill Bridge. The current Mill Bridge is, I believe, the third or even fourth one in its place. The previous bridges had been taken out by ice jams and floods. One of my favorite things about the Mill Bridge is this sign. Below is the Howe bridge, built in 1879. Quechee covered bridge. The "Floating Bridge" in Brookfield. It is a bridge that, well... floats. Yup, very slippery.
Cool thread. I especially like this one because I don't remember seeing a blue bridge before. It is between Monument and Kimberly Oregon.
