    Hey Y'all,
I'm new round this forum, been checking out some of the past rides and thought I'd throw my 2 cents worth in……
I'm planning a ride next February, leaving Wollongong and attempting to ride off road as far as possible to the 2014 Phillip Island Superbike round.
Ride so far would look something like this:
Day 1 - Wollongong to Bombala (via Nowra, Nerriga, Charley's Forest, Braidwood, Countegany, Nimmitabel)

Day 2 - Bombala to Buchan South (via Delegate, Bonang, McKillops Bridge, Gelantipy) short day, possibly combine with Dargo ride Day 3?

Day 3 - Buchan South to Dargo (via Wattle Hill Rd, Buchan-Ensay Rd, Ensay, Swifts Creek, Birregun Rd)

Day 4 - Either Dargo to Phillip Island (if I've had enough) OR Dargo to Licola (viaBudgee Budgee, Nap Nap Marra)

Day 5 - (If I go to Licola) Licola to Phillip Island ( I think this will be mostly tar)

Any advice from anyone who's done any of these rides would be appreciated. I'm riding a 1200 GS so trying to keep of fire breaks and goat tracks etc.

    Anyone welcome to join me.
    Cheers,
    Andy

Gday Andy, might possibly meet you in either Buchan or Dargo if that's okay? Will know for sure closer to the time.

You could easily do the full route in 3 days or take it easy and stretch it to 4.

Pubbing it I reckon, but will be camping at PI. And yeah, I reckon edit it to 4 days. Return trip I'm thinking probably tar back to bombala then do reverse of day 1 as I'll only have 2 days to get back. Be great to meet y'all along the way for part or all of trip

Missed moto GP due to work this year so I'm interested as well.
    I also live in Wollongong.
I can also suggest alternate (more dirt oriented routes) if wanted..
Staying at pubs sounds good to me for the trip down and camp there.

    I'm on a Tenere 1200-

    Andy,
don't buy your camping pass without checking in with me. I volunteer at the island and tick the camping box so I can bring two guests - most of my friends don't camp so I usually offer them here.

    G'day Blokes.

Been lurking for a while. This sounds like it has the makings of a great trip. I also missed the GP due to work. Would like to tag along if that's OK. BTW I live out Penrith way and ride a DR 650.:cromag
