Hey WRW! You would love this ride and I am looking to see if I can do it again. I see several of the guys who were on my trip. It was a blast. Riders of all skill levels had a great time. I am slow but oh so steady.....

Hey KLR,

I don't know the any of the gang going but not too from the area and looking for a couple short rides like this.

Mind if myself and 1 or 2 others join up with ya?

Looks like this should be fun.
Maybe me and the Mrs. could come along.
We'll see what's up once it gets closer to the ride.

I'm in a play that weekend.

I doubt I could make it during this time frame, but I'll be keeping tabs on this thread nonetheless.

We left from the Madison area, took the Cassville ferry, camped at Maquoketa Caves, crossed into Illinois at Savanna, camped at Nelsen Dewey, crossed back to IA at Marquette, crossed back into WI at Lansing, and headed home. Really nice trip!! Link to full set of photos/maps from the trip.

You will know us well enough by the end of the weekend. Did you want to camp with us or just join in for the ride?

I have been in contact with Ken from Scenic View Campground and he informs me that he can't offer a group rate to us. The rates are $15 per tent/per night.

The campground doesn't officially open until the 15th of April so there is no one manning the phones right now, but they do respond to emails and the owners cell phone is listed on their website. I suggest that you wait to contact them for reservations until at least early April. When you do let them know that you are with the ADVriders and they will group us all together.

Will we be down by the river?:huh
