I plan to leave the Cameron Park area sometime Fri b/w 12p and 2p. Anyone in Sac area want to meet up and ride together on the way?

So, ITSAGS found us a pretty sweet place

This seasonal campground is set among beautiful Aspen Groves lining the banks of Mill Creek. An on-site campground host provides fee collection services for the 36 first-come, first-served camping spaces that include restrooms, picnic benches, fire-rings, and bear boxes.

There is no water. Pit toilets. $12/night

It looks PERRRFECT. But after just calling, they are saying that due to the Federal government shutdown they have been taking a LOT of calls.

HOWEVER, As this is drastically different than a Plumas county event, still has too many unknowns about the crowd, I am changing the location back to Calaveras Big Trees State Park. I don't want to, but I think that is best for everyone.

Either way weather is predicting Lundy lake weather in the low 20's at night.

Whatever ride you want. Some people will be riding street, some on dirt. Usually not many or any with teeny bikes for single track. I'll be riding a bunch of dirt, Hells Half acre, maybe head over to Bodie Whatevs.

He did seem to fit right in at Rio Nido,Im sure its funny as heck to watch ancient(to him) people doing funny things from down at ground level.
