The electronic signs on 395 said all the passes were closed. Probably in anticipation of the storm.

    Only 50, 80 are open.

Joel, not sure what weather site you chose but when i picked panamint springs, ca I got this:

Tonight: Cloudy. Low 34F. Winds light and variable.
Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy skies. High 59F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.
Tomorrow night: Cloudy with a few showers. Low 37F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 30%.
Saturday: Partly cloudy skies. High 57F. Winds light and variable.
Sunday: Times of sun and clouds. Highs in the upper 50s and lows in the mid 30s.

Not horrible, but a bit cooler.

Haha! Leg 'er down a smack 'em yak 'em!

Back on the fence about the trip after re-spraining my back. It isn't horrible, but it does act up often. Likely I'll ride up there today, with a ThermaCare back wrap on of course, and just take it relatively easy tomorrow. Better than lying around the house, that's for certain.
