A friend of mine once told me a trick there is to extend the life time of a mousse by cutting open an old tube and putting the mousse inside the old tube.

Is there anybody who knows how that exactly works? Do you duck tape it to close it as one piece or do you cut of more at the inside of the tube and leave it open? Whats the best way to mount it?

Any ideas thanks for your help.

What kind of extended life would a mouse live if he's trapped in a tube?!?!? :rofl

    Hey,
I take a box cutter and make about three passes on the inside circumference. Mount it up in the usual fashion but stuff the tube in the cut once you have the first bead over the rim... it's a suck fest getting the stem through.

I'm currently doing this on a Michelin Trials Comp to expand the Mousse for the oversize tire.
