MD T-O-R Summer Ride to Eat 8/14/10?

7/8 EDIT... DATE IS Saturday Aug 14.

8/12 EDIT...........I will be there around 1130. Please arrive at your leisure, but the Pirates will be descending.

Place is Waterman's Crab House Rock Hall MD.

EVERYBODY, except those Cat herders, jus shittin, is welcome to attend a ride to eat lunch OR dinner. By everybody I mean EVERYBODY. All parameters are up for grabs except that it should be a weekend day. Sorry to those who work on the weekends, it just seems that most do the M-F thing. I like 8/14 because it is the first date that works for me. We can also talk about having a weekday rte, but that will be a different event.
Like before, I'll be taking suggestions, and boiling it down to a solid time, place, date etc. I would also appreciate destinations where there are some nice country roads.
Last time we had a great time putting faces and real names to the 1001010001010110010001100s. Linkey here to see it again. I believe that the highlight was the birth of TWINS!!!

I'll go ahead and suggest anyplace we can get excellent crab cake sandwiches!! I'm still drooling from the pictures PbHarvey and Swampfox posted to the game from Tligmans.

I'm a solid maybe pending time and place. Its the last day of the HoCo Fair and I got stuff to do, some of which I can get out of and some of which I can't. I had a nice time at the last RTE and have been looking forward to this next one. :dg

How is the bridge on a Saturday in Aug? I'm not scared, but I don't want to sit in the rt50 parking lot all the way back to Hwy 2. I know it would be a monster west bound on a Sunday.

Joe and I are available that day so should be able to come either on 2 wheels if we get a babysitter or in a cage if we have to bring the short fry. Crabs are friggin expensive, though, and would require quite a pitch in from everyone I'm guessing. We just paid $49 for a dozen a couple weeks ago. :eek1

Capt Steve may be able to hook me up............we will just have to wait and see if they are running strong. It should be a very good price.

Hey Wreck, I just found the last post to the April RTE thread, I hadn't seen it before.
Here is the funny thing about this photo: of the 10 people in the frame 6 are DAMN riders!! So if you counted only 2, you way DAMN under counted! :)

I would love to come again but I am leaving on 8/13 for an extended weekend ride from here up to Niagra falls. A few of us just want to say we rode our motorcycles to another country, even if it is "America Jr".

Awesome, it seems like there is a good amount of interest.

Spoke with Pinson Family Social Committee and was reminded that we are still under renovation and we shouldn't entertain guest in a house that is still in disarray. I would tend to agree so when we get our ducks in a row we will have a CRAB blow out. Sorry for speaking up so soon.
