Anyone have any have any recent experience of ONLY this USPS service to OZ? Not interested in any of their other services, just this one... "First-Class Mail® International Package" Cheers
It should be 3-4 days normally but can take up to 7 working days. It's generally the quickest bang for buck.
For under 4lbs only, its definitely the cheapest USPS service. So I'd be suprised if its 3-4 days as their 6-10 wkg days service is more expensive. Have you used "First-Class Mail® International Package"? Which USPS service did they come by?

I use it for business and its always between 10 days and 2 weeks, USPS dont use there own planes like BAX Global or Fed-EX if the plane is full it goes on the next and this time of year it will take longer, ask for the tracking number and track it, it may take a 4 to 5 days befour it is through international daspatch. Locky.
I use USPS standard International on most stuff from the USA. Generally 7 days to Sydney. This time of year will be longer.
If the invoice value is over AUD$ 999.00 it will attract duty. Get the Supplier to invoice under that amount if your order is a big one. Once duty's are payable that is normally when the headaches and delays begin.
Sorry to hijack , I have been looking at buying something from the US and can anyone tell me what Conus means? I am not familiar with their abbreviations and slang. Thanks
Usually order Monday and get Friday or next Monday........most packages come with a FedEx or UPS sticker on them anyway.
USPS have the following categories; Global Express Guaranteed, the most expensive and quickest. Special boxes and envelopes. Express Mail International, the one I thought was being enquired about. Requires a signature so favoured by US suppliers. Priority Mail International, the cheapest and slowest. No signature required.
G'day overlandr, I recieved an item today which was despatched via USPS First Class International on the 23rd of November, so maybe at this time of year it takes a little longer than it would normally. Previously its been around the 7 day mark. Cheers, badmanners.
