This was an interesting moment on the BC Big Adventure Trail Ride (BCBATR) 2012 near Spences Bridge. I didn't notice the man in the background until after I took the photo. He startled me a bit when he said "Those cabins are over 200 years old!" So strange when you are so far out. I asked if it was his land that the road passed through. "Well, it was my ancestors land" he said, though he didn't look aboriginal. Were his ancestors the settlers? He had a jerry can with him, I asked him if he was ok. He said he had a place nearby, and he was going to try and fix his truck up the road...

Anyone know what the car is?

Ford, 1949-1951.

Or in this case, maybe a Meteor.
