Good reviews on the 244's, and good price point. Thinking about going with the 5.10 rear. Which seems to be equivalent to a 130+/100. chart conversion 120/100 140/80 = 5.00/5.10 Is the 5.10 too much for the WR450? Everything I read says they run a bit on the small side.
man, I put a 5.30 ( or maybe it was 5.10) on my dr350 instead of a 4.60 its HUGE, it negatively effected the gear ratio actually, it feels like it would go 160 in 4rth gear if it had enough power. its really fat, I didnt think it ran small, but also that was... 4 or so years ago, so maybe they have changed some size wise. they are cheap good tires, hard to do too badly buying a $30 tire. oh found this, shows the large tire, ill go 4.60 next time for sure. I ran the 244s on my xt bike too, check it out Nate! camping/fishing trip - aka beverly squidbillys packing job charcoal grill, 24 pack cooler, and backpacker guitar... check.
nah..when I get there first, it seems others arrive and then turn and leave..and I get the place to myself! maybe it's the boner that frightens them away
Yours looks better than mine. Here I am trying to sell some motorcycles and someone offered to trade my van and cash for an old Ford pickup. I'm thinking I may sell the van and keep the bikes... I'm hopeless... nlp
Don't know if any of y'all need any wrenches at the moment but Advanced Auto has 8pc GearWrench ratcheting wrenches for $29 right now. Damn good deal and nice wrenches, I've had a my SAE and metric for a few years now and just bought some more. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/we...984315-p?searchTerm=gearwrench&zoneAssigned=1
Those do look very nice... But if you own them already, you bought more? I need three motorcycles (affirm that if my wife is around), but I am not sure I need 2 10mm racheting wrenches? Maybe I am missing out on the spare tools I need.
I keep a small toolbox in the trunk with a lot of the basics, I've got my tool chest in the garage, and random wrenches and things in the bike tool kit. I'm a sucker for tools and I hate non-ratcheting wrenches so yes, I bought more
