Wow, for an old guy you have a pretty good memory! That shot might be down the road a ways, if it was taken on the same ride and yes it was 2008. Loud Al was on his F650 and crashed a lot if I remember... That is my old bike and I was taking the picture.

The guy on the bike is an inmate who lives in Lewiston, some of us stayed at his house - nobody knows his name?

And who is the 4th inmate in the group? Also what is the exact location? It was Idaho, not too far from Lewiston.

I had thought of Idarider, but didn't think it quite looked like him. But, with your info, I think it was.

    Same day, same jacket:

The fourth guy, I hadn't met before, nor do I remember having seen him since.

Yes Ladybug, KC Puppy is "IN" too! :D She will remember to pack her rain gear, just in case.

    Hi LadyB,

I should be there, but don't want to jinx the trip with thinking to far ahead. Got skunked on a few rides as of late. (2x KTM Rally's in a row).
Hope my Oregon atlas is still in the Imnaha restaurant, lost my train of thought and left it B hind when the state fuzz was giving a talk that had lot's o eyes pointed my way...as I was one of them...main part of the talk was about sharing the road.... and this year I will have fresh brake fluid so as not to boil over like I did going down to the landing strip at Dug Bar....try that with no rear brakes on a KTM 950...NOT!

///..._____and thanks for taking point on this ride_____...\\\

If yours is anything like mine, better flush it again the day before you leave.

Yep it was Roy, riding an XR250. The fourth rider was I believe Mr. Vintage riding an SL350.

The location was Eagle Creek down to the Salmon. Snow at the top and balmy in the canyon.

I already put her on the IN list when I put the two of you on. :D I didn't think you would come without her.

Heck, I still haven't been down to Dug Bar. I planned to do it last Memorial Day but didn't make it. Maybe I will 2015. I'll be sure to have brakes though and probably be dragging my feet too. :lol3

On the IN list you go and I trust this event won't get skunked for you. I wouldn't count on the Atlas still being at the Imnaha Tavern though. :D

As I was bouncing back and forth between posts I got to this one. I didn't read the post you quoted and thought you were responding about your good memory. :lol3 Had to look at the quote to discover you're not flushing your memory.

No need, it does that on its own now and then. :D

Yes, it is. Screen name formerly Jeff 54, or some other number. He changed to Mr. Vintage on the ride from Lewiston to Oxbow.

It was kind of funny, a bunch of us on high-end, high horsepower Eurobikes gassed it up Joseph Creek, feeling we were doing well, but every time I looked in my rearview mirror, there was Jeff on his 30+ year old 350 Honda- we couldn't lose him. :lol3

Surprised to see pics of that old ride down eagle creek. That and Wapshilla ridge are a good combination for a day ride.
I loved that old 82 xl250r but am glad I have the DR350 now.

It's ok, I will be in Victoria supporting some friends racing a half Ironman race that weekend plus getting in some final good training for myself since I have Ironman CDA 2 weeks later. I wont ride my motorcycle until after June but I will be around and try and make any get togethers otherwise!
