Slimy Crud Run anyone going? (WI)

Hello All,

Just curious if anyone here is attending the Slimy Crud Run in Pine Bluff, WI this coming Sunday May 1st? Looks like quite a variety of bikes shows up fot this event. I am going to try and make it,for the first time hoping the weather in the Not So Great Midwest straightens up!

We had perfect weather last year and a really good turn out. Won't be going this year, leaving for BMW Rally in Georgia...damn can't do both!....We usually book into the Karakhul motel at Mt.Horeb Sat nite (Opposite Culvers) at the East end of town.. its only about 5 miles then to Pine BLuff.If you go, check out the old mustard museum blg. at Mt Horeb......its now the Duluth Trading Post and they have cool heavy duty work clothes and stuff....also a hand tool collection of old timers mechanics, carpenters ,blacksmith gear etc...

Don't forget the movie night at the Barrymore in Madison on Saturday at 7pm.

"On any Sunday" the 70's classic biker movie will be shown, cash bar afterwards. Lots of killer bikes on display. Street parking for bikes only. Think possibly several hundred like last year.

Tickets $8 in advance or $10 at the door.

I have tickets at my shop on the SW side near Englehardt Honda.

I plan on attending, will be my first time. Probably will sleep in a bit and head to Leland for the afternoon gathering. Any other ADVers going?

I'm planning to do the Slimey Crud again this year. Hoping for nice weather.

Anyway, I made the trip last year for the first time with a sport bike group and it was very cool. The problem is it's so damn far away. Not going to make it again probably. Riding through wildcat mountain is always fun.

I'm hoping to go. It's a good gathering, usually some unusual bikes there.

I'm just a lurker on here but I'll be at the run. My first time. Latest weather looks pretty decent (55 and no rain, hopefully).

Is the first meeting place at Sprecher's or the Red Mouse?
