The Game is Closed - Ran out of Letters

After brilliant review by several inmates, we have realized a fatal flaw in the game. North Carolina is seriously "I" challenged. In fact, this game can't be played - as described. So what to do, change it....
Please read the update game and rules below. Hopefully the changes will make for a fun riding game that won't cause us to spend more time on the keyboard than the handlebars. Thanks and ride safe.

Welcome to “Mail, Rail or Air - Tar Heel Taggin”.

Oh boy, not another tag game..... Well yes, but with a couple twists that will hopefully keep it fresh and interesting – for a while. Twists like what - you might ask? Well it's got a finite life and if it sucks – it dies.... Not all ideas are good ones.

The object of this game is to spell out the game title, “Mail, Rail or Air - Tar Heel Taggin”, using the first letter of a post office, train station or airport/airfield located in North Carolina. So you park your bike in front of the Mayberry Post Office, take a picture (bike and name visible), post it - the “M” has been Tagged. Next guy - Grabs – Mayberry, in the traditional tag format and takes off to tag a post office, train station or airport that starts with “A”. Pretty simple. And yes, all the letters have to be in order, and no you can't use the same place twice (EXCEPT THE LETTER "I".

The game will run until “Mail, Rail or Air - Tar Heel Taggin” is spelled out or until the game sits idle for 31 days. If the tag doesn't move in 30 days – guess it sucks – I'll kill the game.

A few rules I suppose, I mean everybody pretty much knows the tag deal.

1. NO FILE PHOTOS.
Except for the letter "I". You can use it more than once and tag it for file. (Oh boy, this is killin me - I hate file tags...)

2. THE PHOTOS OF THE GRAB SHALL BE FROM THE SAME SPOT (or damn close as possible) TO THE TAG PHOTO.
Please stay off private property, secret government installations, state prison grounds, active runways, etc... Hell, it's post offices, train stations and airports – how hard is that.

3. FIRST “GRAB” PHOTO POST WINS.
Like normal, the first Grab gets to post the new tag. But, if you get “Bruced”, post your grab anyway. The 1st Bruce might as well get a little fame - well as much fame as a loser is entitled to. I will keep this page updated with the “Grabs” and the “1st Bruced”, where appropriate. It might be interesting to see if there is a “Most Likely to be Bruced” trend...

4. 3 DAY RULE:
If you Grab, you have 3 days (72 hours from your post) to tag the next letter. If you miss it, Bruce gets a shot. Or if you were the only one that Grabbed it, it's back up for the taking.

As the letters are taken, I'll add the town and "Grabber" to this original post. I hope... but -

But my buddy Matt and I went taggin for the M yesterday. He is signing up as the newest inmate and will be posting the tag tonight - I think. But, if there is nothing up by tomorrow, it's wide open.

Okay, you knew this was coming, but I'm going to throw out a suggestion.

How about:

MAIL, RAIL OR FLY IT, TAR HEEL TAG

to let airports in on the fun??? (And to remove one of the "I"s)

Actually I was considering some modification (or Delete key) of the game. johnny2wheels, and his newly Nexus enabled assistant, brought to my attention that NC is "I" challenged - for both post offices and train stations. I never considered that :eek1.

I like your idea, give me a day or so to smoke on the options. Of course, a few players wouldn't hurt either..

I thought about the "I"s too. Iredell and I'm sure there are more.

Check rule #4. Three days = 72 hours.

Interesting twist on the tag games. I'll play along as my schedule allows.

Opps - you guys are so picky..

Got some fixin to do..

I actually used the DeLorme Gazetteer today and plotted every NC town that started with "I" - 33 of them. But calling them all towns is a generous statement. I'm certain that there is no chance of finding four tag "I"s out there. One, maybe two, I'd be shocked if it were three.
