In Asheville, now. What next?

In keeping with my practice of hurling myself in a general direction and then asking "What should I do while here?" I've landed in Asheville for the weekend. I've managed to drag a poor unsuspecting friend along with me this time. We rode the BRP earlier and are trying to figure out what to do tonight. Figure downtown beer Fest is a good start, but looking for specific recommendations from helpful inmates. We're here until Sunday, no routes planned (all paved, I'm an experienced rider but buddy, not so much), so open to any suggestions there, too.

Hwy 209 to Hot Springs

Get up, buy ticket for beer festival, (I think barleys still has some),go to biscuit head for breakfast,63 out to as previously stated 209 to hot springs, back down the river, park bike, forget about riding, go to festival, sample a shit ton of beer. The end.

Ride downtown and play kick-a-hippie!

Did the 63/209 route to Hot springs, then 25 to 251 back to the BRP, and wandered north for a while. Now, beer time! Thanks for all the suggestions. Will have to check out 421 next time.
