That is top secret, buy the kit and you will find out!!! Much cleaner than others that are on the market. Ryan
Ok, secret it is. I'm trying to get an idea from the various pics shown of how much rise is provided by the mounting bracket. Is Seth's bike showing the 1" rise? How about James', 2" or 2.5"?
OK, Seth's is actually a little less than 1", I modified an existing submount to work on his prototype set-up. James' is just a little under 2". When I do the installation instructions I will try to get a pick of each rise with the stock bar mounts. Ryan
This set up is by far the best scotts mount i ever have o mounth ,i have the 1 inch ,test it this weekend and was just perfect ,have the luxury the go 92.8 mph in a sand wash and take my left hand off the bars for clean my goggles ,very good add to my suspension work ,thanks for the good work ,Javier
Cool, cant wait no more, just placed my order from Rbott. Will provide feedback but i am sure the outcome can and will only be good.
I am very tempted. Just curious. How much weight does this add to the bike. Looks like aluminum so I expect theres not much... edit: I have never had a stabilizer so I am not sure what to expect in terms of weight etc (though I understand the concept). Michael
I'd like to have the same handle bar adjustment as the OEM. We cannot bring the handle bar closer to the driver with this setup since, it seems, the damper base is bolted with a single bolt (large counter sink). Would it be better to have three straight holes. We could then bolt the handle bar with a very long bolt going through the handle bar clamp and steering damper base ? Paul Jr
Well, i dont know where to start about this product made by Rbott. The machining is phenominal and the workmenship is excellent. I will be fitting it when i get home, cant wait anymore. His stencilling is great on the equipment. What pride he takes in his work. I strongly recommend to purchase from Rbott as the prices are great and the product. What more can you ask for? Now go and place your order.
