JLo foot apparel Bonus points for emergency vehicle on call (or maybe just stopped for dinner) in the shot!
Can you tell us a little bit about this scene? It's obviously in the USA somewhere, from the route number sign behind the driver's head... In fact, I reckon I know where that is! It's right next to the Amtrak station! Which would put this scene here just around the corner in Main Street? And I swear I've never been to Oklahoma! For some reason at first I thought you were somewhere near Washington DC. The cowgirl boot should have been a clue! Are we looking for an enormous cowgirl boot, which might be a wee bit difficult down here in the southern hemisphere, or will either A) an enormous boot or B) a more modest JLo style boot, say in a shop window, do the job? Do I need to start researching JLo's costumes to see what other shoes she wears? Would a Kylie boot do the job? (What do you mean, "Kylie who?") Cool bike btw, and just the right colour scheme too. Funny looking little petrol tank and rear rack though.
I'm thinking if I can get my bike near it, this Kylie statue in Melbourne's docklands might meet the spirit, but definitely not the letter of this tag? Mind you, she's got her red shoes on.
JLo = big ass. I had no idea this would cause confusion! Tag does not have to be a boot but any foot apparel. Ginormous (JLo) foot apparel.
So the owner of this trike wouldn't even have to leave home? How far are you prepared to travel for a tag? 200km from Wellington? This travel blog photo's source is TravelPod page: Day 59: Taupo A scenic spa
OK, so your big shoe didn't have wheels! I live in a big city, which I know pretty well from driving cabs, but this big shoe theme has me beaten. I'm down to wondering if there is a kindegarten somewhere with a shoe in their yard (for an old lady with too many children to live in). I generally try to pick a theme you can't find by just googling or looking in the yellow pages; you've certainly succeeded!
Seems there are a pair of red stiletto trikes (makes sense), one with drum brakes, the other with disk brakes and a slightly different profile at the top, above the heel. <iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/16357758" width="400" height="300" frameborder="0"></iframe><p><a href="http://vimeo.com/16357758">Marshalls Shoes Megashop "Red Stiletto Mobile" Ad Campaign Rides Through Georgetown / WDC on Saturday, 9 October 2010</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/elvertbarnes">Elvert Barnes</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p> They are advertising props belonging to a shoe retailer called Marshalls. So, has anyone got any leads on big shoes?
I'm not at work either As a matter of fact I'm on spring break as of about 45 minutes ago and have zero deadlines to meet tomorrow...where am I riding tonight???
That's a nice one. Better pic than I was going to get this afternoon. Mine sits on top of the planetarium on UNC Campus and hardly as good a representation as this one.
New tag A non-chain fast food place. Bonus points if, like this one, it either was or is going to be on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
This is about as Kiwi as you can get.At one time every suburb would have had its own fish and chip shop.....not so nowadays does this work?
I was eating fish and chips here in Aus just as you posted this, but my bike is on a trailer for tomorrows ride, so we drove a car to get there. Looking at the original tag, it reminded me how few "independent" take away places like you'd see in Australia I remember around Cincinnati, though I did find a souvlaki place.
