    Nice video, and different :clap
    Thanks again for sharing.
Hopefully it's a preview and a warning of things to come.

    Best regards,
    Adrian

PS: the DVD is out and for sale?

These are basically just off-cuts from a small section of the main film (the Lena River section). These are the bits from the river barge that we decided not to use. You can only use a couple of clips from the barge in the main film, since its non-motorcycling ...

The film was ready a couple of weeks back to go to the printers, then we decided there were a few more clips to include and a minor reshuffle to make it better. So its back getting the current edit finalised, then it has to get colour graded ...etc etc ...

Its a big process to do it properly.

    Walter,

Looking forward to the DVD version. I for one am just as interested in the day to day traveling experience as opposed to the Moto footage.

I ran in to someone at the BMWMOA rally who knows you, he runs a tour company that does the Road of Bones etc but I can't find his card right now.

I think I need to re-read this ride report so I don't lose sight of my dream.

I think so, I'm still scratching around looking for his card. He said he was a mate of yours...Ahhh I just found it. Compass Expeditions.

That was thoroughly enjoyable in spite of it just being a barge report.

After watching your's and the Mundo Enduro teams rides in Russia I am even more determined to get over to that side of the world sooner rather than later:clap

Hardly "utterly useless":lol3 I've always enjoyed a good boat ride to get a little rest and relaxation from riding the motorbike after a long ways. The worst is the "running out of beer" problem, at least you could make a stop for resupply:freaky

You guys do a good job of keeping up with the shaving part, mine just goes to hell while riding on the boat.

    Thanks for sharing!

I don't know how you've managed to keep the music police from silencing the soundtrack to this clip but bravo on the selection...fit perfectly with the subject matter

That’s what I like about this thread.

I get older, and they stay the same age.
