RALLY CONNEX AND KTM CANADA ANNOUNCE THE ROUND ALGONQUIN PARK ADVENTURE MOTORCYCLE TOUR

Rally Connex and KTM Canada Inc. are pleased to announce an exciting new Motorcycle Adventure Tour in the near-north of Ontario, Canada. The Round Algonquin Park (RAP) Tour is a four day/four night event, that is a fully guided and all-inclusive, food, lodging, permits, tolls and support staff is all provided.

The tour will bring it's participants through the world renowned beauty of Algonquin Park's landscape, through the Madawaska and Haliburton Highlands and we’ll even enter the park to visit scenic Barron Canyon. You’ll also enjoy riding along some of the abandoned colonial roads that were established when this part of Ontario was settled. Over and above the scenery and the terrain, participants will enjoy the camaraderie of the group, while experiencing the security and comfort that a fully supported tour provides.

The tour includes support staff to lead and sweep the route, as well as a chase truck for gear and spares, and accommodations at fine northern establishments. The ride will include little used forest access roads, right-of-ways, gravel roads, abandoned rail beds, logging roads and some pavement to hook everything up. As such the tour is an "off-highway" adventure rather than a trail-based off-road event. The ride will begin and end at Minden Ontario and is designed for such motorcycles as KTM 950's, Adventure R's, LC4's, KLR 650's, BMW 650's, DRZ 650's and 400's as well as Honda XL 650’s.

For more information on pricing, itinerary and frequently asked questions everyone is invited to visit the Rally Connex web site and click on “Adventure Tours”.

This trip look good, I have some question about skill for this adventure.

1.Can you do this trip with the regular tire on the KTM 950 Adv. ?

2.I am a good rider on the street but this is my first year in the wood , what is the skill level ?

    Hi Stephane,

    To quote our F.A.Q.

1.This ride is designed and especially geared to take full advantage of motorcycles such as the KTM 640 and 950 Adventure and others of this type.

2.You should have aggressive DOT approved knobbies, we will be off highway much of the time and an inadequate tire can at times make your day miserable!

3.The tour is set up with the experienced rider (rider of any discipline) in mind.
