How much do you think it would be worth?

Two months ago I'd have taken them for the gas money

There are several, but we have used Allied several times to move our bikes to the west coast. Mentioned to us that they have gone to a flat fee, when the rep was in the dealership a few months back. Federal is another one that comes to mind.

Found the information on the shipping with Allied Van Lines
700cc and down anywhere in USA $660.24
701cc and up anywhere in USA $776.16
That is door to door and includes up to $8000.00 insurance. More is available if needed.

We've used Federal several time in the lower 48 and had great success. They have discounts for club members (AMA, HRCA, etc.). I don't know how they are going to/from AK, but give them a call. Number is in all the magazines.

I've used Federal a couple times without issue; just don't be in a hurry to get 'em. They do discount as dwestly says and so far they have not asked for any type of membership number for confirmation. They will also discount for picking up / delivering to a business, the last time I met them in a shopping center parking lot.

There is a website which I can't remember the address to where independent haulers bid on your job. This may be less expensive and faster but I would be sure to have good insurance on the bikes before doing it. :deal
