My bike came with one original key for the ignition and one for the original luggage. Where can I get blanks to get new keys made? Thanks!

Got mine from Bob's BMW, online.

They're the flat style.. and my local locksmith was able to make a copy of my knob-style original key in literally about 20 seconds. It took me longer to dig the $1 out of my pocket to pay him.

I make copies of the original knob style key. They are blanks, so you'd need to take them to a locksmith or grind them your self. If anyone is interested, I can post some pictures. Alternatively, feel free to send a PM.

Luggage keys are another story, let me know if you need further help on that one! I dug for days to find luggage keys for my Krausers.

I think he is talking about the folding key. When it is folded it is somewhat Knob like.....now get your mind outta the gutter, I am not making a metaphor for a schwanstucker here......

I have a knob and a folding key. Two different styles. The knob one actually looks like a radio tuning knob (but smaller)

You mean like a pointer? Or a rounder knob?

That indeed is the "knob" key that I was referring to. Not the "folding" style. I make blank replicas of knob keys, I can do them in several colors as well. I searched high and low for replacements and found that they did not exist anywhere. So, I started making my own.

Ok, sorry I'm a little late but it is still Monday:D . I can do some better pictures tomorrow in natural light. Right now, I have the capapbility to do these in Black, White and Blue. Originally they had the BMW logo on them. I have molds withe the logos, but I would never try to sell them because of copyright issues. So, I also made some without logos. Note that all of the keys in the picture are blanks:evil . They still have a little flash on them, I just made them today.
