A fellow Inmate and customer used one of our 310 light bars in the vent area under his headlight on a 990. I thought, .. Thats a great Idea and stepped it up on my personal bike to the 610.
My950 has an HID headlight, I thought that was pretty good until I installed the 610:wink:
The advantages over the typ aux light setup is the low chance of any damage done during a tip over, No lights or mounts to hang off of fairings or crash bars and a rock solid performance light system only drawing 30 watts
Let me know what you think and if this product has merit to you.
Is this a product that appeals to you?
Note: the bike is shown with 310 lights also, these are not on during the photos.
    Thanks

The decision lays in the mount cost. In low #s its tough to save much on the mounts. If it looks like there is interest Ill take the plunge and make up a run so they dont cost a arm and a leg.
I hope to price it at about the same as the 610 dirt bike kit. $325.00
Would you rather have a new grill already pocketed out or are you fine with cutting your stock unit?
If we supplied the grill it would be a simple bolt in addition.

I like the idea of a simple bolt in but some might prefer to save a buck by cutting their own. Either way works for me.

I've always disliked the protruding lights attached to forks, guards, etc. This solution looks great for the 9X0 adv. Nice and sleek :thumb

It's very nice. I have something similar and really like it. what are the dimensions of the light included in your kit?
My question relates more to the depth of the light due to 990 ecu location as opposed to the empty space of the 950.
    Thank you.

Well, having already been bitten my my stock grill (have the scars to prove it), I wouldn't mind a new one... especially if it would be a plastic and finished without the razor-sharp edges the sadistic Austrian engineers left us.

    this light is 2"x 8.5 with a 2.5 depth.
Good info on the ECU THANK YOU!!!. .
I did not realize that, Luckily I know where I can probably take a look at a 990.
Tunp who showed me the idea has a 990. I dont think he moved the ECU

We now have the 610 and 310 kits available for the non abs 9x0 bikes. ABS bikes coming next.
the 310 kit retails at 230.00(no vent mod required) and the 610 kit at 330.00 for use with the stock plastic vent.It does require you to cut your stock vent. (610 only)
we can also supply the vent and mod for the 610 at an extra 39.95
These will not be on our site for a few weeks, but are available threw a call or PM.
    Thanks!!

I'd like to try the windscreen that you molded. I don't see them on your website either. Any info on that?

Could you post a pix of the bracket you made to go around the Ecu for our light kit?

    Thank you:freaky

These lights have been working great. We finalized the kit for the 950 with the final price falling in at 355 for the XPG powered 610 or 625 light bar. I love mine. Off course, you would expect me to say that:lol3
Like all our Bike mounted LED products they have a full lifetime warranty.

    Thanks for asking
Other than the local guys who have seen my bike there has been little interest in the 990. Of course that is all on us, do to the fact we are not marketing the product.
I did do one, but it was a time crunch install for the customer, so we could not take the time nessasery to make a real kit.
We did have to move the ecu a bit.

I have been watching this thread and I finally came up with a question.

Is the 610 or the 625 dim-able? I have a set of lights mounted to the forks on my 950 right now. I dim them down with a twist knob for use during the day and when on coming traffic is headed towards me at night. They are always on when the key is on. If you flip the high-beam switch they go to full power. Can I do the same with this setup or is it just an On/Off setup? Can it be made to be dim-able if I just hook up the light to a dimmer? I was sort of hoping to just unplug my existing lights and plug this setup into my existing wiring setup.

Tax return season will be here soon. I am starting my shopping list. I am getting tired of my fork mounted lights chipping away at the plastic on my low fender. (I don't want to run a high fender). This kit looks great to me.

Yes these lights feature a 3 wire system with separate pin PWM dimming. The light comes with a handle bar mounted switch that offers low and high, you could wire that into the high beams if you wanted that configuration.

Do you still offer this kit?

I like the 630 light bar mounted like you have it in the above pic. Do you have the brackets and everything needed to install?

Does this work with a low fender as well, or only high fender?

I'd love this kit that you offer, but for the 990.
