I have one that is pretty steep that goes over the mountain from the campground into an old subdivision that never took off. It is a pretty cool challenging trail segment. The other is a 10 mile loop that has some very challenging areas in it, really depends on if we go up hill or down. The logging roads are washed out. Should be fun no matter what!:freaky

I rode the FJR up there and camped this weekend. I'm sure the area offers some great dual sport riding, and it's a great jump-off point to some of the best paved roads in the Appalachian mountains. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I'm down with the Sweaty Beaver. :evil

I'm out. I realized that it was my anniversary weekend after I signed up, but I just recently realized that when my wife said "that's OK, go ahead and go" she really didn't mean it. :shog

Damn it, I'm going to make it to the Fuzzy Beaver this fall for sure.

Looking at a top end rebuild on my XT...not too hopeful at this point. I didn't realize how much a girl could love a bike - wish me luck. I would love to have it ready for the Sweaty, but am not holding out much hope (without throwing a lot of $$$ at it). Are there any reliable dual sport rentals near there? (of course by that time I might have to be on serious medications to combat my motorcycle withdrawl symptoms) :cry
