I don't know exactly what that blue adventure fender is, but it might be worth looking into if you have a late '04 or '05 S model...

For the german web site that originally listed the parts and shows pictures of the mod, look
    here

For the AdvRider thread showing pictures of this conversion, look here:

I've tried finding information on this blue fender from the usual places: ktmusa.com, ktm-parts.com but can't find a picture or description of it. Does anyone know what this fendor looks like or from what model it is from?

I'm wondering if it is a match for the blue paint on an '05 950S, and what the shape/coverage is like compared to the other fenders.
    Thanks,
    Doug

Googled it and the Blue Fender looks like it comes from a 660 Rallye bike 1999-2000. Standard looking offroad fender.........BLUE

Does nobody sell this high fender conversion as a reasonably priced kit?

Just touched up the original post a bit...

There might also be some 950 SE or 990 parts available that work better than the above.

My guess is the only difference is the brake line.

Do a parts search at your favorite KTM dealer and see if there is a different brake-line(s) for the two models. Everything else, is, to my knowledge the same. Only longer legs, right?

    thats what i figured too.
only longer legs => sexier ;)

thats why i prob have to go with the S brake line that is mentioned above!?!
i do not fully get the brake line topic thats why i was asking...
couldnt find really good pictures that explain the whole topic.

    thanks though! :)

    Just a heads up...

I started this thread and the posted the above parts list eight years ago... Quite a few new parts and solutions since then... Might want to search for a more recent thread on the topic.

You dont need to change your brake line.
So, in essence, theres no difference between an S and a non-S 950.
