Chase the Dakar in a custom built 6x6!
Hi guys, my mate Jago and his lovely wife Lucy are running Dakar tours, to follow the biggest offroad race in the world!
They have a custom built overland truck, if youre interested, check their page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Picke...57216860985947 Jago and Toby 'the prince of darkness' Younger, used this as one of their support vehicles in last year's Dakar Rally and Jago has been driving around the continent since that time, with his family. This truck will be the perfect way to get up close and personal with the rally and still have some energy left to actually enjoy it! Im sure he will stick his head in to here soon enough to answer any questions.. just wish i had the time to join the adventure! Cheers Ben

Cheers Ben!
Only just managed to get logged in as we have been coving 2k km the last week to get down to Ushuaia in Southern Argentina and internet access has been pretty sparse. (Currently sitting outside a closed gas station borrowing internet in true Dakar style!) Ben's already put the face book link up but basically we are running a Dakar fans tour at pretty much cost for only 4 passengers in our luxury 6X6 Dakar assistance truck and Polaris buggy. If you are interesting in the Dakar tour of a lifetime then this is the best way to see the action up close and with my contacts we should be able to get you into the bivouacs too.... ![]() Let me know if you want more info at PickeringsRTW@gmail.com (email is easier whilst we are on the road as I don't get on here often enough) - Cheers Jago

Cheers Deadly99!
I'll try and get some photos hosted somewhere to post here soon. In the meantime there's a video slide show with details on our Facebook page and PickeringsRTW Youtube Channel now! Cheers Jago

Live the dream!
Hi all - a quick update that we have bookings for the Dakar 2013 tour but still places left if anyone interested - we'll be doing it a little different next year so this maybe the best way to see the Dakar up close and personal on a tour run by Dakar vets for Dakar fans!
See the FB link below or email me at pickeringsrtw@gmail.com for more. Cheers Jago
