A fantastic 130 mile day, and while the iron mtn trail backwards at mile 110 is something of a killa it's alllll good. FREEDOM!!

Freedom for sure, Lucky. Things cleared off this afternoon enough for a sesh.







There you have it: skateboarding is a crime.

I hope this winter isn't like last winter. It's not looking so good.

The forecast for riding is looking not that great. I've gotten a bunch of quality pedal power in of late. I bagged a single digit (9 F) commute to a paying gig in this morning. Time to start something with knobbies* and go for a damn ride. File flight plan with Layla, gas up at the head shop, and rip it out John's River. There were motorcyclists in the parking lot. There is hope.

This downhill run onto the bridge was a bit sketchy.

Trail 1 was pretty tough. There were a few sections I had to take more than one crack at.


Trail 4 was a no go for me. The 4 wheelers motored right up it.

I think a cushioned hub would make this snow business easier.




There were other crazies out there as well. The 300 had trouble getting started while the 450 rolled off with no problem.

About 5 inches of snow today.






It sleeted, then rained, then turned back to snow. Be careful out there.

I'm glad to see that somebody has been having fun with the snow and ice.

I might try a little tour tomorrow afternoon....gotta work again today...

Good evening, Otto. This is agent Rogers. I am going to ask you a few questions. Since time is short and you may lie, I'm going to have to torture you.

We did a big bicycle ride yesterday. Got up this morning for a bit of Maple Sally Drifting. Conditions were really nice, but beware: the gravely stuff at the Maple Grove end has some DEEP and not obvious ruts. :eek1 Also, someone beat us to the punch today.

Lucky was beginning to get his groove on. Unfortunately we were in a race with the weather. We got hit with some rain when we got back to town. My hands were FREEZING.
