When the gas tank is re-installed, make sure to re-attach the fuel lines.

When performing lube maint. and cleaning of vech. be sure to remove the drain pan of used oil from under the vech. before washing!

Talking my wifes car here. You should have seen my dumb ass. It was at night. I washed the engine compartment, then the front, worked my way down the drivers side, and what a surprise when I turned the corner at the rear! Used oil is sort of pretty floating along glisening in the light of the street light.

Related: Go ahead and tie your shoes when welding, it'll help keep the slag out of your shoes.

And unless you like unsightly peeling in late Oct., go ahead and put on pants instead of the shorts for welding happiness.:rofl

Put kickstand down before dis mounting bike. I did this the other day what a dumb ass i am sometimes. The thought process is in slow motion as your trying to slow the landing and realizing your mistake at the same time.

Upon completion of a valve check, replace valve timing inspection plug BEFORE you start the bike. It's amazing how much oil can depart an engine in this fashion.

Don't try to suggest anything on oil, anti-seize, or chain lube post.
