I guess I should have asked this before I bid on it, but I'll ask anyhow. Upon finding that the clutches in both of my T3 engines were in need of replacement, I bid on a like new Surflex clutch that was on Ebay. I got it for what seemed like a good price, and it arrived today. The thing looks like it is brand new, but the friction disks are quite different from what I took out. Does anyone here know anyhting about these? I hope it's good, because it's what I've got!

If you bought 4mm plates you'll have to get a 4mm spline...but you probably knew that.

Your T-3 came with 2mm clutch splines, Guzzi upgraded to 4mm for no good reason.

Sureflex plates can cause the clutch to be a bit "grabby" at first. Most get better with use, some stay that way for some odd reason.

I didn't know that! When I read this, I let out a big sigh. I just ran out and checked it all out, I got the right one. Whew!

I'll second that! Fitted one on the later ones to my Spada to cure exactly that problem..

I'm surprised the T3 had the 4mm splines....
