Didn't find it this morning, now it shows. Liked So if you are going to be social, how about sharing some of your builds/projects??
Lads ! Bobs an old time sidecar installer and a very good painter far to traditional for the adv crowd but a very nice guy who likes to talk and will be helpful to anyone who calls.DB http://www.warkshop.com/index.html
Hey Bob you need to add your location to your visible profile. For all I know you're in Belgium or South Africa or Chile. And I think it's fine to flog your stuff on Facebook, but this isn't Facebook. This is Adventure Rider!
Yeah! We like ADVENTURE. I'm glad you've decided to post a bit in here. I'm going to move to thread to the Hack Vendor forum. But don't let that stop you from participating in other threads, Bob. Looking forward to seeing some of your work.
Would 'adventure' be riding a 76 year old motorcycle on a 900 mile round trip in late October to Canada, alone, no support truck, no gps, no fuel injection, no electric start, no foot shift? Or leaving from Ohio in a snow storm to ride to Bike Week in Daytona going thru the mountains of West Virginia in said same snow storm on a tired old Suzuki with sidecar. That i've done more than once. Just wondered, would that be adventure? The 'traditional' bob wark
You are an adventure Bob. Good to see you here.Mike Marston stops by from time to time and always talks about you. Hey have any pictures of your Old Guzzi convert with the sportster tank welded on it?
Hi Claude, thanks for the welcome; you let Mike in the shop unsupervised, check your Heineken supplies, they may be short! I need to upload those images to the 'net so's i can plug them in,,,,will get on it, i have some great ones!
I have more just learning photobucket and all this magic at once, yikes! 8.75 gallon tank i built,,,could build one for you!
Domiken,,,i've not rigged to this bike but Claude has. I had the opportunity to examine an install he did for a fine fellow from Morgantown WV recently and was much impressed. Strong/rigid and safe, job one. It is a big job because of the bike's design, surely not cheap but that guy sure liked his outfit.
Thanks for replying, this is something that I will be considering in the future for a long trip in the US with my father. I don't think the old man can handle a long trip these days, but who knows. When the time is right and I want to move forward I will contact you. Suprisingly when I was looking for information a few days ago I came across your site. Cheers.
As a fellow Ohioan this does not count and it did not happen with out pictures! Is your shop open year? A couple of us from up north would like to check your stuff out.
