I'll won't be riding to the event. I'm staying in Ritzville and will be headed over Fri. right after work.

I couldn't find the start time or schedule for the Sat. events. Here's the link to the website: http://stumpjumpers.org/desert100/

I saw on the news this morning. Dobson Pass has a washout. This is the road north out of Wallace. They were doing road construction on it this fall. From the pics, I'm guessing a fill washed out. Bastards were trying to straighten the road.

Bummer about the washout. I didn't know anything about work being done to straighten it but there are a few of those curves that could use improvement, some weird angles in a few places and frost heaves that could heave you right off the mountain. As much as we enjoy roads like that for our playground other people use those roads for transportation. :dunno

Rainier Rider you're funny...... But when I was trying to find how to get to your place you weren't able to provide lat/long ...... you fail. :lol3

Yeah the New Enfields are built in India, I guess as the story goes when Enfield in the UK when out of business they never told the India factory. So they have been making the same 60s style bikes with minimal upgrades since. Way cool bikes and they have made HUGE reliability strides in the last few years.

    "There are places I remember
All my life though some have changed
    Some forever, not for better
Some have gone and some remain"

There's no way across the Selkirks on wheels.
    Feet or hooves maybe. August.
There used to be a FS road from Sullivan to Priest Lake.

Well, it's not on the bike yet but will be soon. Need to finish the bracket I’m making.
Good thing it’s blue or I would mistake it for my KLR with those fancy Kawasaki mirrors I put on it.
