the Mitas E09 Dakar front and rear are my current fav's. Although I still haven't tried the Dunlop.

What happened with that tire? was it mounted on the standard F8 rim? did you ride it to the end without incident?

Have you seen the Vee Rubber VRM163? Looks like a great Street/Dirt mix for a great price.

Heid... way too expensive ... aint worth it. I could do $60 over Shinko but they are crazy...

You could try www.rideonadv.com or revzilla for the heidenaus as well... they are worth every penny, and will outlast shinkos by a substantial margin. The first set of K-60s I put on my 800gs went almost 20K miles. I've got almost 5k miles on the K-60s I mounted on my Super Tenere 6 weeks ago... they still look almost brand new.

yeap...i went the expensive route for years thinking they would last longer.... i change um every year... so i go shinko. i would bet the last just as long as the heid..

Nice thing too with mc superstore is the tires are really fresh usually within 6 months of manufacture.
