Hi, I was tempted to post my cruiser in jeep thread but it ain't really a jeep even many called my cruiser a jeep. Any cruiser head hang around here at all? My Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40:
73, medium wheel base with removeable top. that particular one is a basket case, but it still drives ok.
Yes, it is all stock. Imported from Columbia South America. The top is an aftermarket top that was put on when it was new, most of the trucks you see from there have these if they have a top at all.
fzj80 here. Locked, 33s, 1" spring lift thus far. 262k miles and still rocking. Coming down the hill the Jeep couldn't make it up
Had a few... I was president of Lone Star Land Crusiers for a few years. This is my '79 I've had since '96. TLCA #8123
I miss Toyota trails, damn fine magazine. Have not been a TLCA member since I had my 71 FJ-55, should see if i got picks of that thing still...
Here's are my cruisers: 85 FJ60 97 FZJ80 Collectors Edition: Rocking the white top for the cool (temp) factor! Keep em coming!
I guess I get the honor of having the rattiest Landcruiser pictured on this thread. My 1969 FJ40. It's not the prettiest thing, but it was made back when trucks were trucks. That's what I like about it the most.
I still miss my '74 FJ40. Had to get rid of it because as a High Schooler at 12 miles per gallon, I couldn't keep her fed. One of these days I'll get another one and drop a 350 in it and lift her up a bit. Dirty
I've had a few, done the Jeeper's Jamboree through the Rubicon a number of times. Even did every one of the Land Cruiser Jamboree through the Rubicon. I would give my left nut for a FJ45, short bed, with the removeable roof. Like this
