Guess where this part goes...

I washed my bike the other day, and when I was tidying up, I found this on the ground under the bike (2013 F800GS).



What's your guess as to where it belongs? I vaguely recall something looking like this was connected to the back of the headlight panel, but not sure. It's about 1" on the long end, and about 1/2" on the short, flexible material...

Thanks - I figured - anyone have a pic as to where? Left side hole on rear of panel, as seen while sitting on bike?
