If you just found this place, welcome to the asylum. If you don't have a dualsport motorcycle, you are in the wrong thread. We ride around in the woods for the most part, alot of sandy stuff that requires knobs (or not, if you are a bit crazy.)

Come to the end of the thread and post up, its always good to meet new riders.

A few of the pics we have collected over the past 6 yrs or so:

I would recommend a DR650 or smaller Dual Sport if you want to ride with us. The 650 is pushing it, IMO. I am riding a DRZ 400s right now, its a good compromise for the terrain that includes Hwy and nasty sand and mud.

The Sand Fleas: That's a moniker sure to strike fear in the heart of old ladies everywhere.

Kuntz: I can do either (or both) days. I'll be camping at Juniper Springs.

Can't be the official thread, it doesn't say "Sand Fleas" anywhere.

I guess this could be the "official thread". Lets see if we can keep it going till were all too old to ride. :lol3

I would like to head North, and get away from all the whoops and quads. Lets hit some trails we have never ridden along the way. There has got to be more good stuff in the forest. :deal

If we meet at Big Scrub then head north on 88 there is a shit ton of nice-looking roads that branch off 88. I've never ridden anywhere around that area (kinda near the gun range).

We could always try to ride from one end of the Bombing Range to the other.
