I left there in early 80's when I was a kid. Currently in Canada although I'm looking forward to going back some day. We've been talking about doing a partial RTW in a few years and making Poland a longer stop over. Though we're seriously considering moving out to your side of the world. Choices choices…

Wroclaw, but I don't remember much of it, just a few small things about where we lived. Although I'm told it won't help me find anything since everything has changed so much.

Hey, one more here. Shoot, haven't visited this site for few years. Currently in Houston. Lived in Atlanta for many years. As to mother country originally from Walbrzych, about 70 km from Wroclaw. Darn small world!

Wow - I grew up in almost the same place

Kudowa Zdroj - about 90 km from Wroclaw and 60 km from Walbrzych

Yeah, really small world Arek.

forman103, living in Atlanta I rode through Franklin many times on Hwy 28 all the way to Tail of the Dragon.

Ha! Small world indeed...28 is pretty cool, I ride it a lot after work. I like the Dragon, but think it's a little overrated.. and crowded with all sorts of Harleys and such . I'd go over there only during weekdays, off season. There are other great twisties in the area, great roads and totally empty. Too bad you moved away..
