we had supper at 15 Quince it was good

which soon after they opened one of their competitors posted in the local paper that there was nothing but dog food there.

To which the owner printed up tshirts that said "dogs ask for it by name"

saw a guy with a stringer of 10" - 16" trout, said he'd caught his limit 3 times, but those were the keepers. Yea we didn't get a pic.

we stopped just in tusayan at a gift shop.

Now I know we're on vacation & I know gift shops are a part of it, i'm as guilty as her for looking around. Only thing is I can look around a lot quicker.

Now we're looking at pictures & films of the grand canyon,

WE'RE 5 MILES AWAY, lets go see the real thing, we'll shop after the sun goes down & that aint that far away.

Being the hipacriti (who can't spell) that I am. I talk a good game of atgatt, but actually we're sotgmott. some of the gear most of the time.

it was about an 1 1/2 hrs from sunset. we bought the yr long national park pass for 80ity bucks & it paid for itself just this trip.

A guitarhack tip by the way, he also mentioned in his rr about the national park passport. Where at each park you get a stamp, sorta cheesey but I enjoyed it & wifey loved it.

On the road into the park we saw elk & deer. cool

    we made it

    ps we saw a buzzard

close to dark we walked back to bike, don't get close to a baby elk when moma is around.

don't ask me how I know.

So helmets back on we rode back to tusayan to find the cheapest room in town. Unpacked, went to the ye be ki a steak house. The steaks looked good. & is what we should have had instead of the apps that weren't so good.

Watched some Mexican rodeo on tv at the bar & then to bed.

I think that buzzard might be a California condor. A great sighting!

I'm glad you had a great trip!
