Idiots like that are kinda rare around here, & other places I've lived. Normally they're bright enough to get around ya if they really want. Often they cut over abruptly thinking to "show you" doubtless; however they're a bit too dim to realize that they're still going faster than ya so it really doesn't do much 'cept further demonstrate their poor driving.

This thread already hit my biggest annoyance..people who can't corner feel the need to do 90 in the straights to make up for lack of speed in curves, since you're already ahead of 'em from the twisties they attempt to ride your butt until the next curve wherein they lose it again..repeat until ya take a 5 min break to lose the morons for a while. - Just finished a North Cascade run. Around 400 miles, & some good road with the occasional

Certainly understand the desire to kick the car, but the real problem is IN the car. My 2c.....buy a crothch rocket for car kicking, seems like most of the 2 wheeled morons out there are on these and no one would be surprised to see someone get off at a light and do something stupid (like kick a car).

As for motorcycle ownership, why not? They are fun where scooters are practical. Like owning a celica for comuting and a GTO for weekends, both sports cars but totally different rides.

I remember a ctv news did a rush hour test that was around miles of driving around Toronto Canada. Very bad traffic. 1) was a professional race car driver. They allowed him to go 10% above the posted speed. Weave in and out of traffic. 2) was an everyday person whom had to do the posted speed. No lane changing and weaving unless for safety reasons. 1.5 hours latter the professional race got there 3 min faster then the second guy. You aren't going to make time unless your driving a for 10 to 12 hours of driving allowed depending on what country your in. w
Gee where in the hell are the flying motor scooters that where the talk of the town in 1951 ?

The Gov. arrested the guy who designed and built the flying scooter, said they were too fun for normal people to own

fullmetalscooter? You don't have the right scooter! YES! I have blown away the crotch rockets on the tight hairpin curves not because my scooter is faster but because I am a much more experienced rider and they are NOT!
Yes,, on a straight level road that crotch rocket will pass me like I am standing still, but on a tight curve mountain road they pussy out and back off around that tight curve!
I also owe it to the superior handling and low center of gravity of my maxi scooter that I am confident I can take any curve at full speed,,,,, I tend to think if ANYBODY would ride the scooter I own they would have the same confidence and they would look like a highly skilled and fearless rider!
I got into a fight with a guy riding a Kawasaki 1400 crotch rocket cause I passed him inside a tight curve while he was riding his girlfriend on the back claiming that I scared his girlfriend and almost caused him to wreck!
I told him "Nice Bike! Too Bad You Can't Ride It" and "His girlly friend should be scared ALL the time riding on the back of any bike with YOU" I should have asked her to ride with a REAL MAN like me instead!

take a look at the rear tire tread of ANY crotch rocket out there!!!!

you will notice that the tread in the middle of the rear tire is worn down twice as much as the sidewall tread!

that means they are a rookie, inexperienced rider ,,, the type that slows down and brakes on curves!

if you look at the rear tire of my scooter you'll see the tread is worn even on the sidewall and in the middle of the tread cause I am the KING of the tight curves!
NOBODY can match my speed around the tight curves! I don't care what bike you ride!

Yeah, the hospitals and cemeteries are full of heroes like you.

Ever have road rash? Read up on it. Because - if you really do ride and ride like that - you will.

Yah I'm with ya. I want my anti-grav scooter...The burgman kinda vaguely resembles the 50's concept of "The Future", but that's 'bout as close as it gets bar a nice bump in the road & some good momentum.
