Having dinner by the lake and watching the lights fade is very enjoyable for me.

All good things must come to an end as my drive chain broke on the way back. It got stuck between the engine and the front sprocket and I can't get the chain back out to put in the spare master link I had with me. Luckily, it was only 36km before Chuxiong. So a call to the bike shop and the mechanic came in about one hour with the proper tools and new chain. Back in the saddle after 30 mins of road side work to party with my biker friends again.:freaky

    Hi DT,

    Long time no see.
There are different ways of enjoying a motorcycle ride. Some a bit extreme and on the edge, some are more relaxing and focus on creature comfort. I'd like them all. :rofl

When will you be free to do a tour in China?

    Cheers,

    Franki

The chain did crack the engine case and it took a bit of epoxy and finding the cracked piece to patch it up. A 10 mins job.:lol3

We are working 6 days a week on 3 large projects. I can only take 2-3 day trips. It takes me half a day just to get out of Nanjing so the trips end up more time in stop and go traffic and construction than anything remotely fun. I do make it over into Anhui province on those days few days when I can get 3 days off from time to time. Riding there is definitely interesting for me. I definitely want to join you at some point on one of your many adventures. Let me know if you make it anywhere near Nanjing.

    Ride safe!

You are most welcomed to visit China.
Try to look southwest or northwest of China. I found it less populated and more interesting.

Its good to be busy working so you can enjoy life at a later stage. Just keep the balance. I try very hard to stay away from the central part of China. But if by chance I pass by your area, I will surely look you up.:lol3

More terrific China photos, as always. The Chinese tourism authority should make you some sort of roving ambassador, as you have done more to show the amazing and wondrous side of China than anything else I have seen.:clap
