Anyone cut down F800GS windshield? (...tall riders?)

That's what I did. Worked OK, You're in the wind all the time. but none of the head banging turbulences. And when I load my F800gs in my Van all I need to do is remove the mirrors. Also relocated the front brake fluid reservoir.

Yes. I have such a screen for sale, cut down as you describe, though I usually run with a stock F650GS twin screen on my F800GS, because it is almost the same as the cut-down screen; they are quieter than the stock F800GS screen.

Tell me about the "saw-tooth" top .... was that artistic flair or is there some aerodynamics behind it?

they really are not that noticible.......... at least from my side of the screen, I'll try to take a couple pics of it on the bike.

If anyone is looking for a place to ride I HIGHLY recommend the ozarks and the Butler map. I did not realize the AWESOME paved roads out ther and didn't look for the dirt (this Trip)
