That would be great, and I could see how the extra torque of a 650 would be helpful.

That sounds like a smart thing to do, I do similar the week of the Cherry Fest up here. But that means I basically don't ride that week.

***Anybody have an extra DRZ stock speedo cable? Mine is toast... I kinked it in the woods the other day and it finally let loose. I'll be ordering a new one Monday if I cant come up with one close by.

Hey! I like Harley's. I just don't care for the few special people that ride them.

Christianity is like HD to me. I like the product, but often find the users annoying.

I actually like some Harley's as well. I just just find those pics funny and mildly true. My buddies old man has multiple Harley's, one of which is an old WWII era Harley trike. It's awesome, but a little scary to ride.

Speaking of that trike.. Hey CharlieT, are you able to get parts for such a thing? I'm not sure of its details (I'll ask him). I rebuilt the carb on that thing years ago for him and he keeps hinting he wants me to do it again because it runs terrible at the moment.

Would probably be easier than tracking down parts in Europe for a 1937 Sachs!! Is it here in W. Mi?? Would love to work on it.

I was riding along the Jordan river roads and came across an unmarked 2 track. I headed down it- at first it was good it had a few puddles and a little sand, then the puddles got deeper and the sand got longer, then the sand got deeper and the puddles got longer. A couple of down trees later I came across a locked gate. I could see that the road was right on the other side of the gate. So I decided to get around the gate rather than go all the way back. Half way around the gate another rider came up from the road side. He turned out to be a Michigan conservation officer on an XR400. I explained that there were no signs or gates when I started on the 2track. He said it was no big deal and helped me around the gate. It was nice to see that there are nice guys out patroling the 2 tracks. :clap:clap
