I have never understood that saying. Seeing it go down the road will be a sad, sad day for me.

It's a saying used by people who don't own boats.

I loved my sailboat. But it was a happy day for me when I sold it. Whew.

Because it was also a liability and an incredible chore to actually take sailing.

This is easy. A good day for boating is a good day for motorcycling. Which would you rather do?

The only thing better than owning a boat, is having a friend with a boat. Most of the fun, none of the hassle

That is pretty much what it has come down to and is why we have not used it in years. We used to go the river and do a supper ride up to almost Rice and back. Now we hop on the cycle and ride up one side of the river and down the other.

The guy that is buying it has said that I could use it if I wanted and I believe that he is sincere (he has been using it for 3 years now), so if I had an irrepressible urge to fish, I still could.

It is for this reason I leave my golf clubs at my in laws. While there is the only time it seems like a good idea. :lol3

    Completely off topic.

I've had my Suzuki for less than a month and I'm already browsing Craigslist for a Ural or Royal Enfield. Its too reliable. Though now that I sold one of my cars, I do have more room in the garage.

I'm heading out for a ride. Probably head towards Taylors Falls. Try and do that ride we did last fall.

Just got back from the swap meet in St. Paul. Cool and damp and two sellers didn't show. Not anything I needed. Up for riding a bit this afternoon but need to be at church by 430. Let me know if interested.

Yesterday I was running around all day and night looking at CL vehicles and just didn't get time to organize my parts or get them into the van.
