Here's a continuation of the original post that we can use to highlight and organize a South Sound meeting place for the ADV Rider crowd.

So, thinking along the same lines as the event everyone enjoyed this weekend at Redhook, let’s come up with a joint down south that rocks!

Visibility, access, parking, seating, food and beer…you know the drill!

So, South-Sounders, tell us about joints down in your neck of the woods that might be strong candidates as an ADV Rider meeting spot!

    Let 'er rip! :clap

Are there no good stomps in the south end???

I have a place to suggest that's pretty sweet. I'm just waiting to confirm that they can handle a group of 12+.

    Stay tuned... :johntm

Let me find a place that has free beer :beer and water :lol3 (except for the sponser :rofl :deal )

    Good [hi-visibility] parking :D

Easy to find with or without a GPS :norton

and great Natchos :dg as well as other food items.

I've got one up my sleeve that I'm waiting on, too. It’s a good one that I promised not to disclose until I get the green light…

    Hey BPP:

Yeah, I saw that one. Thanks for the suggestion! I like where you're headed suggesting that place!

Renton is still sort of middle sound and I think, based on the feedback at Redhook this weekend, that the Riders are looking for something a bit further south. Oly, Tacoma, you know, down south a bit…

I'm sure we'll all check this place out at some point! It looks pretty damn cool! So long as the beer is cold... :1drink

Thanks again! Keep the suggestions coming!

Duke's Chowderhouse on Ruston Way (Tacoma) is a good bet.

Anthony's at Pt. Defiance (Tacoma) is also a nice spot.

Engine House No. 9 (also Tacoma) is a great spot filling station too.

Place: Fish Brewing Company in Olympia is the spot!

Address: 515 Jefferson Street S.E., Olympia, WA 98501

    Date: TBD

A good friend of mine is one of the owners of Fish Brewing and likes the whole ADV Rider idea! I wanted the check in with him first (read: warn him) before posting.

So, I’d like to welcome you all to meet up at their new brewpub on the next decent Saturday or Sunday for another round of meet-and-greet, or “MAG,” as it's now being called. Lots of good food and plenty of great times await!

    Let’s hear from you!

the Fishbowl is a great place to meet. Peak hours (4 - 8pm) / parking = "fa-ged-aboud-it". that doesn't mean not doable though. i can always pee on a parking spot or two to mark terriory (which is kinda common in oly). Plus if the owner knew we were coming he could reserve us the front.

the AM option for breakfast is here. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=212910

i am for consolidating to this thread.

i'm an army of one as of yesterday (thanks BRIAN:ddog) but i will still keep truckin on. got in about 300 miles and even swung though tahuya, but didn't see any bikes i recognized.

    Hey Maddaddy:

That's almost crawling distance. Nice post!

I think it would be worthwhile to invite Riders to meet for breakfast and lunch, since both spots are so close to one another. Hell, there could be Riders within a three-block radius all day long! Now, there's some visibility!

    Thanks for posting!!! :evil

So, maybe a little huevos rancheros followed by a Bloody Mary, followed by a gnarly ride, followed by a return to the Fishbowl for brew and more chow?

It sounds like the perfect day to me!

Good God, man, you are a genius! :D
