For what its worth, one of the US bike mags had an article where their author was using a TomTom on a ride, and the thing was so far behind updating that he missed some exits. But then maybe you won't be cruising your sportbike at 200kph.... Also one of the US/CA forums had more than one post that while stopped at traffic lights, their TomToms showed a small false movement - and in a different direction than the vehicle was pointed, leading the unit to believe the rider had turned the corner, and so gave en erroneous directional instruction! I am in the US and just bought two Garmins Nuvis for family as Christmas gifts, paid more money than for TomToms, and I have no connection to the industry. IMHO a TomTom is an economy product with economy performance.
