2014 Jekyll & Hyde Ride

First Saturday in September.

Depart 4pm from Nederland.

What is the Jekyll & Hyde Ride?

Jekyll:

This is very much a social ride! An evening dinner ride - Colorado Style.

We will depart in daylight from Nederland Colorado at 4pm.
Meeting place in Nederland is the Carousel of Happiness (by the train cars).
If you are out riding for the day, end up here.

We usually have 3 groups - one is paved, one is dirt roads (easy), and one is singletrack/offroad which goes up and over Kingston Peak at 12,000 feet.

We all end up in Idaho Springs where we usually eat at Beau Jos Pizza as a group

Hyde:

The night time return.
The ride changes personality after dark. Many folks head home after dinner - the rest head off for a late night offroad adventure. We usually go BACK over Kingston Peak - 12000 feet - in the dark!

The usual finish time back in Nederland is around 2am although many of us ride until the sun comes up.

Sorry about the lazy start to the thread - I was swamped when I realized I needed to get it done so I just threw "something" up.

I've updated it all now
