I thought this all started because you wanted an easy shake down ride on the 990. Well I could take it out and shake it down for you.... While you fix your air conditioner. I check it out really good for you....

Well, it went fine. Just Uncle Tom and one more guy showed up. (my neibor on a klr) It took us a little longer to get to Ike's than I remembered, Buckhorn was pretty rough and torn up due to the rain. We didn't make it to see Bob in Yarnell, the new guy needed to get home and it was already 2 hours past our meeting time.

Uncle Tom, what happens on the trail, stays on the trail.....

The sourdough cakes at Ike's was spectacular!

A good day!

Any day above ground is a good day, right Tom? I guess you didn't want to talk about it, since you rode right by me in Yarnell. Tried to catch you, but, I guess we went different ways at the Kirkland cut off. Hope everythings ok.

Sorry for the bike attack on the KTM I've thought this over & I think what we had was an almost 20 year old Honda with a lot of pent up jealousy & animosity of Orange bikes, saw it's chance & jumped on it literally The brake lever also broke the master cylinder inside but Ed came to the rescue with a spare so all is good. Thanks for the ride & your neighbor's got some skill on that KLR DirtKlod the second

Sounds like another well planned ride that went perfectly according to plan!

Just glad your ok Tom!!

It was an ugly sight with you under the KTM. I was wondering why your handgard was wet.

Yea, Gary rides well, if we can just keep him from looking around too much. He was in Awe of the landscape. He doesn't get out much...

Looking forward to next time!

Yea I probably got a little carried away. When it dawned on me how expensive the parts on a KTM are, my first question was is anything on the KTM hurt!! Whew!! Dang aggressive old Man on an old Honda

I jeeped by Ike's a couple of times, saw no adventurous bikes. Talked to Cody, works at Ike's, said no group came in. Guess he did not call three a group.
Thought that road probably would be in bad shape as I did not think the grader went that way. However you were on ADV bikes!
Anyway... sure it was a nice day of riding. Wish I could be out there today. Perfect Summer desert riding day!
